I've been reading up on Osama Bin Ladin, trying to find out who his is and what his motives are.
Apparently he was born into wealth.

His father's is a typical rags to riches story. Immigrated from Yemen. Started his own business and through hard work, good timing (lots of oil money flooding in to Saudi Arabia and a Royal family keen to build infrastructure) and good contacts managed to get super rich.

The Taliban agreed to hand him over to a neutral country, if the bombing stopped, and if evidence was produced. Strangely reasonable really for fundamentalist nutcases.

Bin Laden himself denies responsibility. Although he likes that it happened. Which is bad enough.

No doubt he denies responsibility. He fears the wrath of the US.

Guilty or not, there has been a lot of media saying that he is already dead, that he died in 2001.
Including this from the New York Times

I can't see how thats true unless the suggestion is that all the recordings have been hoaxed together.
But if thats the case then we have nothing to go on. There is no stable media or even stable reality that we have access to.
